105-Ten Bar & Grill
I officially went from really liking this place to loving this place, thanks to a brunch visit. We are newish to Ossining and have been here for dinner a few times, enjoying the lively atmosphere and delicious menu offerings. But brunch is the hidden gem here - for bottomless mimosas/bloody Mary's and a slew of incredible breakfast and lunch items no matter what you're craving is enough to get me there, but the warm atmosphere is what will get me to go back. Our server was warm, attentive, and very generous with our bottomless drinks, and we left stuffed and satisfied. I can't wait to go back again for brunch especially, but also for dinner too.
With too few bars in Westchester, I've wanted to try 10510. I've passed by this strip mall sports bar/gastro-pub several times and even tried to go in with my wife to find the place full on a Saturday night. We ended up going somewhere else in BCM. Today, the long bar was packed with local college students home for Thanksgiving weekend. We split a lunch at a nice warm rear table. The food was very good. We had eggplant fries, which were very crispy and not to oily - this is a unique appetizer. Saw the lobster grilled cheese sandwich - it looked great. The Tuna tacos (3 for ) were super fresh, we really enjoyed them. The Prosecco spilt bottle was a flute and a 1/2 portion () and the two 10510 Amber craft beers () were ice cold just what i wanted. Jessica our server, she was friendly and efficient. The only concern I'd have with this place is that it is going to be noisy when it's full of customers and you'll have to yell to have a conversation.Worth checking out!
We went to 105 Ten for a late family Valentine's Day brunch on Sunday 2/18/18. Location is in a small strip mall off the beaten path. Decor is appealing - typical pub style with communal tables down the center of the restaurant. Staff very friendly and accommodating. For appetizers we ordered Pork belly sliders, Home made chips, Sticky bites. They had an interesting drink offer. Bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Mary's (). That seemed to be a good deal. Apps were really good! For our mains we ordered Steak Benedict, Eggs Benedict, Flat iron steak with hollandaise, Lobster Mac 'n Cheese, Pancakes and Croque Madam. Lobster Mac 'n Cheese was really good. However the remaining mains were much less successful. Fair at best. Very bland and flavorless. Hollandaise in particular had no flavor, home fries were cold and not seasoned well, poached eggs so runny they were inedible.Bill came to 0 including service fee. We were a group of 5 - so not terrible. Especially when you count in the Bottomless drinks. Just wish the mains were as good as the apps. Probably a good place to go for drinks and apps.
Went with a group that has varying food needs (vegetarian, gluten free) and we ended up having a great meal. Small plates (which really aren't that small) make it easy to put together a few items for an interesting dinner. All together we had: fresh Potato Chips, Wedge Salad, Mussels, Cauliflower Bites, Crab Cakes, Tempura Shrimp, sides of asparagus, brussel sprouts. Overall we loved everything! In particular the potato chips, wedge salad, mussels and veggie sides were great. Would have loved cauliflower bites with an option of no breading, just seasoning just because so many other dishes have heavy breading too. Will definitely be back to try mixing together another great meal.
I like the food here. It's consistent, prepared well and nicely presented and the burgers are delicious. However on every occasion I've been there's always something "off" about our server. Minus a starAlso keep in mind it's a local's place in suburban NY so if you're not into kiddies go after 7:30.
This is a great restaurant! This restaurant has great service and speedy service without the food being very sloppy or being undercooked. Food is delicious. Burger is juicy without it being too juicy. The fries are very good. The fries are a little salty but it's not too salty and it's edible. Waiters here are very good at serving food. It's very nice here. Music here is pop and very catchy (For my taste of music) and it has a full size bar and a 4 big TV's. This a great place to go out to with your date.
I've eaten here before and it was so much better than my experience with take out. The Caesar salad was horrible. I'm definitely a snob when it comes to them but it was probably the worst I've had in this area. Iceberg lettuce (post romaine ecoli outbreak), bagged shredded cheese, and there was barely any dressing. The grilled chicken sandwich was decent. And I got marinated zucchini as a meal which lacked much substance and flavor but was okay. Overall just very disappointing for the price.
Came here for a friend's birthday. The atmosphere is nice and the service was great. My friend and I split some of the bbq sticky bites and they were really good! I got a cheeseburger. It came with fries, which were good. The burger itself though wasn't very good. It had WAY too much bun which completely masked any flavor from the patty. Next time, if I come back, I'll just be getting the sticky bites.
I have to admit I was a little skeptical when my girlfriend pulled into a strip mall, but I was pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a restaurant. The staff was very accommodating and the meal was well paced. House made chips with blue cheese are excellent (great to share) and lobster grilled cheese was excellent. The only downside was the restaurant was very noisy so it was hard to have a conversation and catch up - I'd travelled up from Hoboken to visit and catch up - otherwise a great place.
Love this place from the awesome ambiance to the great food selection you can't go wrong with any aspect of it
Eat here frequently. Very consistent and kid and family friendly. Great food options. I like the pork belly sliders.
Whole lotta, eh. Tucked away in an office park? This hidden fly over needs some soul and in a hurry!Service was fair, food was just ok, drinks were boring I had a flat beer the lady a prosecco and st germains mix that was about 85% ice. Bust.Idk this shaft is a chip off of the Exit4 block? But with less charm and a quarter of the kitchen skillz.Over-priced + underwhelming; typically westchester but you gatta have skill and soul... exposed brick in a run of the mill gastro pub, complete with hipster wannabes in their mid 30's and 10 year old girls at the door won't cut it.I was not as thrilled as I had hoped to be. I'll try it again before ringing the gavel.
My first time. My wife and I had the sliders which had to be the best I have ever had-seriously. Had beacon and Brie cheese. Yummy. I would have like some local craft IPAs on tap although they did have several national brands but small grip. Will be going back frequently !
105 Ten never disappoints! The service is average, some days are better than others. I agree with other reviews that some apps are better than the main dishes. The Mediterranean Salad is my favorite and I usually add grilled chicken to it. At the suggestion of a server, I got blackened chicken which really took it to a whole other level!I will definitely be back!
I can't believe this restaurant does not have 5 stars. Absolutely incredible, everyting. We got here 30 min. Prior to our dinner reservation on a busy Friday night. Hostess knew exactly how many bar seats were available and allowed us to sit there instead. The food was amazing, service was amazing, we got the last two seats at the bar near the kitchen but I didn't even mind because they were all so professional. As a fellow server, I appreciate the little things and they knocked it ot of the park, well done
The food was once excellent, but now is average. This place is often noisy and crowded, but the service is excellent. The staff will go out of their way to accommodate their guests.
I have been to this place numerous times, and I've yet to be disappointed. The food is great, the atmosphere is charming, and the service is friendly. My husband and I just went there tonight to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. To start, my husband got the Short Rib Spring Rolls (which I forgot to take a picture of, sorry). I had a few bites- delicious!!! Then he had the 105 burger with French fries. He said the burger was pretty good but he didn't really care for the fries. I had the veggie burger wrap with sweet potato fries. Loved both! Then I had the pumpkin gelato for dessert. Delicious!! I definitely recommend this place!
I want to like this place so badly but there is always something off. You look at the menu initially and think "this looks promising". Tuna tacos, short ribs, lobster Mac and cheese. But the preparation suffers from the typical Westchester over saucing, strangely concocted ingredients, etc. Generally the apps are much better than the entrees. Tuna tartar with guacamole is ok. Shrimp app is decent (sauce is good but overdone). Best dish is make your own salad at lunch. Service is average but strangely the staff is always eating meals while still serving people. Maybe this is because I'm eating there late or something but when I was in the business we never ate in front of guests. Need to focus on your tables! Ambiance is good while being located in strange strip mall. Mgmt is attentive to front of house but they need to spend time with menu design and cooks. I hope they get it better for my sake.
Very pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is in the tavern style with long bar, communal pub tables, and large screen tv's but don't be fooled, the food here is great. They have a wide selection of food that is fresh and delicious. Yes it has the burgers and other fried goodies that you would expect but we had a really great dinner that was healthy and full of flavor. I had the Ahi Tuna Tacos that were served with asian slaw and pico de gallo. Amazing. My wife had the Prince Edward Island mussels that were really fresh and tasty. We also had the Braized Zucchini with shrimp which a great choice. There is something for everyone here, including wraps, salads, steak and seafood options. Some cool drinks as well. The restaurant was not loud when we were there but we arrived around 6 pm so it was early though ven by 8pm the noise level was acceptable. A fun place for friends or families. Check it out.
Starters this place does no look appealing from the outside. Got seated with no wait, I ordered the briarcliff mule and although it says muddled blackberries I came with blueberries? Bit confused if it is a misprint or they were out of blackberries and just didn't mention it to me hoping I wouldn't notice. My husband sampled the flower power and enjoyed it. ( You can sample before ordering a beer). The oyster Rockefeller ( on special menu for the night) was good my husband who isn't a fan really enjoyed them where I love raw oysters and was just so so about it and wouldn't order again. The app came out pretty quickly compared to other places.bpur entrees came out and we were both happy with our selections. I wish the lobster Mac n cheese had more lobster. I found end claw pieces and knuckle pieces . For the price I'd expect a tiny bit more lobster. My husband enjoyed his lobster grilled cheese. He polished it off before I could have a bite. We will be back again try out reverse happy hour and the raw bar. Although one thing I didn't like was the fact it was 9:10 and they started clearing and spraying down tables when they close at 10. Made me feel rushed and just thought that should be done when they close down. Not when customers are sitting right next to the tables and now smell the cleaner. They also are turning people away at 9:19 pm when the door says 10. Now would give 3.5 . As I'm sneezing now from the smell of cleaners
